Are you more productive in the evening or the morning? Why?

I’m a night owl 🦉 for sure. I found at university, I was most productive late at night and I was often found at the library after 9pm when it was much quieter and I could focus. I often ended up staying there until after 1am with the other night owls in what felt like a secret club after the rest of the world had gone to bed.

What is one of your greatest achievements?

Aside from my Masters degree, I would say I am particularly proud of visiting over 30 countries, I love traveling!

What piece of advice would you share with your younger self?

Get into coding as soon as possible, you’ll enjoy it! …Or buy bitcoin in 2010 💰.

What’s something that most people don’t know about you?

I have many hobby projects on the go which compete for my spare time. The projects usually involve music, electronics or software – sometimes a combination of all three.

What’s something you couldn’t live without? Why?

A bit cliche but the internet. I can’t think of many things I do in my life that don’t revolve around access to the internet in some way whether it’s work, entertainment or leisure.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be & why?

Pizza 🧑‍🍳. I am obsessed with perfecting the perfect homemade pizza.

What fascinates you about technology? Why?

The pace and how easily something can become a new standard. I love how fast things change and how new things can be created and completely disrupt the market – with everyone accepting it and building upon it. For example, in 2020 when remote working became more commonplace and suddenly every app or product integrated video features almost overnight. There aren’t many other industries where something as major could happen so seamlessly.

How would your friends or those closest to you, describe you?

I would hope they would say “kind”, “loyal” or “fun” but I would guess they might land on something closer to “mischievous”.

What are you most excited about with your new role at Adapt?

I’m passionate about technology and love working where I can be deeply involved in tech based projects. It’s also very exciting to be working at a growing company with so much potential. I’m really looking forward to seeing what the future holds for Adapt and how I can be a key contributor to its success!
