Bespoke Shopify Theme

Launched in London in 2016 by Freddie Elborne, MONC represents a new era in which quality, provenance and ethical production are of the same importance as the aesthetics of the finished item.

The challenge

Freddie at MONC was referred to us, as many of our clients are, through another client. At the time of the introduction, MONC had been trading for around 12 months and felt they had grown beyond their previous Shopify theme.

We gladly accepted the challenge of renovating & rebuilding MONC’s Shopify storefront to provide not only a fresh new aesthetic but a stronger, more stable foundation for the company to grow upon in the future.

The project

For this project, we undertook some initial investigative work, with the help of the information provided by Freddie during our early discussions, in order to gain crystal clear clarity over what the end goal was. As Abraham Lincoln once quoted; “Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.”.

Once we had clarity around the vision for the end goal, we brought our trusted creative partner on board to transform this vision into visuals. Once we had the visuals we executed on them with pixel perfection in order to create the site we have today.

The outcome

One particular feature that we are proud of is the ability for customers to order products for a nominal fee to try on at home. Customers have the ability to add up to 4 products to their cart to try on at home for a nominal fee. Once the products are returned the fee is refunded. This allows MONC to keep track of stock and the customer to try before they buy – a win-win scenario.

The result of this project was a brand new bespoke Shopify theme with custom functionality such as the above, which we are confident will not only support but fuel our client’s growth, for many years to come.

A greatly improved UX led to a sharp & maintained increase in new orders.
